BSA Troop 25 Summer Camp 2006
Troop 25 attended summer camp at Camp Woodruff in Georgia July 10 through 15, 2006. We departed Good Shepherd at midnight on Sunday, July 9 and traveled via chartered bus all through the night. Our friends in Troop 183 joined us and shared our campsite with us for the week. Scouts attending base camp not only were able to take merit badges, but also had the opportunity to go white water rafting on the Nantahala River, took the Horsemanship merit badge, and canoed to an island where they stayed the night. Several older Scouts participated in the high adventure program where they rafted the Nantahala and Ocoee Rivers, went caving, horseback riding, and climbing. All of us travelled from Georgia to North Carolina and Tennessee during this amazing trip.
