The server containing the website was changed over the weekend, so all the email accounts and passwords to the member's only page had to be reset. Everything should be working now. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you still experience any problems, contact Steve Wise.

The Spring Camporee was terrific. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. Each troop presented portions of a different merit badge, so the boys were exposed to a variety of badges, like Geology, Cinematography, Pioneering, Music, Traffic Safety, and several others. There was even a Vietnamese troop that had a display of Scouting from Vietnam. Troop 25 presented Indian Lore, which was a big hit.

A big thanks to everyone who helped last weekend for the Mardi Gras parade and festival. Cleaning tables is no one's idea of fun, but it's one of our commitments to Good Shepherd. We still had a number of registered Scouts who did not participate, so next year we will be assigning shifts rather than asking for volunteers. It's not fair for a select few to take the majority of the burden.

Troop 25 would like to welcome its newest Scouts who crossed over at the Blue and Gold tonight. They will be known as the Flying Eagle patrol.

The fundraiser at the Orlando Wetlands was very successful. We had perfect weather (sunny and high of about 80 degrees). There were a lot of people at the event, and the troop ended up netting over a thousand dollars profit. Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to it (and earned money toward summer camp as well).

Congratulations to John H. for completing his Eagle project today. He had a lot of help from other Troop 25 Scouts, friends, and family at the San Pedro Retreat. Thanks to everyone who helped out.

Eight Scouts from Troop 25 campout out at Fantasy of Flight in Polk City and had the opportunity to work on the Aviation merit badge. They all were able to go into small craft airplanes (and those lucky enough to sit in the front were allowed to fly the planes!) and take a short trip in a hot air balloon.

We have 13 Scout and 6 adults currently signed up for summer camp. With the commitments we received from Troop 184, we have enough people to pay for the bus. Way to go, guys!
